Cypress CH-507TXBD and Cypress CH-507RXBD not only extend the HDMI transmission range thanks to the HDBaseT technology (4K signal up to 70 m, 1080p - up to 100 m), but also provide multi-channel audio transmission LPCM 2.0/5.1/7.1, HD Bitstream, integrated CEC control signals, HDCP 2.2 coding support. And most importantly, they allow you to transfer IP data thanks to support of LAN Serving technology.
This means that, along with the main HDMI signal from the image source to the display device, it becomes possible to provide a remote device or remote workstation with access to an Ethernet network. This is all to provide remote control over the network, and to access the Internet or internal server.
Support for proprietary IR and RS232 control signals is also provided on board to facilitate integration of AV equipment with centralized control systems.
In addition, Cypress CH-507TXBD and Cypress CH-507RXBD use Bidirectional Power over Cable (PoC) technology to power BOTH devices, allowing only one power supply to be used on the transmitter or receiver sides.
For best results, use a quality Cat6 23AWG shielded twisted pair cable along with shielded RJ45 connectors.
