Commvault, a leading provider of cyber resilience and data protection solutions, announced the acquisition of Appranix, a cloud cyber resilience company.

With Appranix's automation and advanced data recovery technologies, Commvault will enable customers to recover even faster in the cloud after an outage or cyberattack.

According to Statista, the average downtime after a ransomware attack is 24 days. Appranix automates and reduces recovery time from days or weeks to hours or minutes, enabling enterprises to be more resilient in the face of unpredictable threats.

The integration of Appranix’s technology into Commvault’s portfolio is expected to be completed by this summer.
